With a glass “ tealight holders ,” you can create a cozy winter light in no time. It makes for a personal decoration for your windowsill or sideboard—or a lovely little gift. With its frosted effect and subtle snowy shimmer accents, your “ wind light ” will look especially cozy.
1) Preparation Carefully clean the glass and gather your materials. Then dab the glass with the frost-effect paint using the stippling brush and let everything dry thoroughly. 2) Prepare and apply the design Tear or cut out your desired designs from the tissue paper. Carefully separate the individual layers of the tissue paper so that you’re left with only the thin layer featuring the design. Take a brush and apply a thin layer of “ napkin glue. ” to small areas of the glass. Then stick the design onto the painted areas. Work in small areas so the glue doesn’t dry out. Then apply another layer of “ napkin glue ” over the attached design to secure it and press any raised edges flat against the glass. Repeat this step until your glass is decorated to your liking, then let everything dry. 3) Add Accents You can now use the Decorative Snow Liner to add final accents, as shown in the picture.
4) Make the tea light ball glow Finally, place the Micro LED chain of light inside the glass sphere and secure the lid from the bottom. This way, you can easily open the glass sphere at any time to operate the chain of light . Finally, place the tea light in the recess at the top to create a wintery glow.
